...Kelly--the post about raw milk was on Facebook.

We haven't started drinking raw milk yet, though we have been strictly organic for awhile now. I am looking into joining a coop with some friends of mine--and then I'll be able to work with the GNOWFGLINS course to learn to make yogurt and sour cream. Yummy! :-)

Hoping that I can get to that Weston Price convention, Aubrey! It would be so fun to see you!

Karenworryfreemomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08512857751293397413noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6651026653316914175.post-82390650533412028692011-02-10T09:47:41.481-07:002011-02-10T09:47:41.481-07:00Karen, most people just don't understand. And...Karen, most people just don't understand. And how could they? They get their info. from the media and the media is about making money plain and simple. I know it is frustrating. I am just as passionate as you about food and it is hard when good friends and family act like you are crazy for giving your family raw milk when we've been living very healthfully on it for the last 10,000 years!!! Many people believe if the FDA says ok than it must be good for me. Well, I say GOOD FOR YOU for doing your own research and for thinking for yourself. For our family raw milk and green pastures cod liver oil has changed our life. we are healthier than ever before. You're right, it not just about the taste of a tomato, but making a statement that we refuse to support companies that use chemicals, mistreat animals and the environment and are strictly out for profit, not our well-being. Thank you for writing to your senator. You are so on it girl!! Also, thank you for the sweet B-Day card. You are SO thoughtful. I loved it!!Aubreyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10288934787239317524noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6651026653316914175.post-32513917212637773362011-02-09T20:56:00.727-07:002011-02-09T20:56:00.727-07:00Good for you Karen! I don't recall a post you did about raw milk though, did I miss it?

I have a thread going at CafeMom about GMO foods and I'm going to link to your post for people to have links for additional research. Thanks for taking action!Kelly Cookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07859487060142048869noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6651026653316914175.post-85846841270017634072011-02-09T20:55:58.992-07:002011-02-09T20:55:58.992-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Kelly Cookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07859487060142048869noreply@blogger.com
